Milan-Bamako: a travel for charity

Subscriptions are open for the Milan-Bamako charity travel.

The organisation has few simple rules: “Italy-Mali: You have less than 15 days and up to 68 h.p. (50 kW) to reach the Savannah across tarmac, rubble, sand and dirt tracks. All you need is a simple means of transport (a car brand new or old but maximum 68 hp powered or motor bike that is at least 10 years old and has a maximum of 650cc). You must participate in the pre-departure meeting and have the desire to explore the immense charm of Africa”, as written on dogonchallenge.com/en

Depart from Italy will be on 26 December 2009 and the arrival will be on 8 January 2010.

The travel is sponsored by “Trust viaggi” and youposition.it.

What’s the goal? To “donate your car or motor bike to the Abareka Nandree Association“.

“All teams will be followed through the services of www.youposition.it”, Kunde wrote in an email to our newsroom.
