Dowaha/La berceuse, by Tunisian director Raja Amari, has won the 20th edition of the African film festival in Milan (Italy) as ‘best African film’. Although the festival has ended today, prize celebrations have been held yesterday, saturday 20 of March.
Other winning movies are Un conte des faits, directed by Hichem Ben Ammar, selected as “best documentary”.
Un transport en commun/Saint Louis Blues by Senegalese director Dyana Gaye has won the best ‘short movie’ award.
