Nine loud explosions have rocked Gaddafi’s hometown Sirte last night, AFP reports

Al Jazeera’s Sue Turton in Benghazi reports that the opposition’s National Council has claimed that Gaddafi’s hometown of Sirte was taken at 11.30pm last night (local time) by opposition forces.
