ACCRA, May 16 – Ghana revised its 2010 public deficit up to 6.8 percent of output from a previous estimate of 3.7 percent on Monday and signalled the current year deficit would likely be adjusted too.
The revision is the latest in a series of tweaks to Ghana’s data since last November when it carried out a statistical re-basing of the economy to reflect new growth areas, adding over 60 percent to its measure of gross domestic product.
