Since one hour, French soldiers based in Ivory Coast, are attacking military sites of the city of Abidjan. A source of the Gbagbo government confirmed to Africanews via telephone citing Ivorian military sources.
“The attack is apparently carried out with tanks and, generally, with heavy weapons”, Mireille Guibero Anokoua, manager of civil society for the “cellule diplomatique” of the [Gbagbo] presidency of Côte d’Ivoire, told us over the phone 20 minutes agos.
“Now it is official”, she added, “violences in Ivory Coast have nothing to do with the results of the presidential elections”.
