South Africa police out in force for Malema hearing

JOHANNESBURG, Aug 31 – With his political career at stake, firebrand South African politician Julius Malema faced a ruling ANC disciplinary hearing for a second day on Wednesday as Johannesburg police deployed in force to prevent any repeat of riots by Malema’s supporters.

Johannesburg – Minerals Minister Susan Shabangu should start preparing the mining sector “psychologically” for nationalisation, ANC Youth League president Julius Malema said on Thursday.
