A South African pilot and a passenger were killed on Sunday when a light aircraft crashed after take-off in Namibia, officials said.
“The South African plane with three Namibian passengers on board crashed in Windhoek soon after take-off on Sunday morning,” said Department of International Relations and Co-operation Spokesperson S. Molobi.
“The pilot and a passenger died. Two other passengers are in hospital in a critical condition.”
Mr. Molobi said the South African embassy in Namibia is providing consular services to the families.
