NEW YORK, September 29, 2013/African Press Organization (APO)/ — Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Human Rights Deepak Obhrai delivers an address at a high-level meeting on the Sahel, on the margins of the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In his address, Parliamentary Secretary Obhrai discussed Canada’s concern over the ongoing needs of vulnerable populations in the Sahel region as well as Canada’s development assistance. He also discussed Canada’s contribution to prevent and respond to terrorist activity in the region.
